Transitive property of contradiction

James took the boys to Kroger last night and when he was strapping them into car seats for the ride home, Brian complained that it was too hard to buckle his own straps. James (knowing that Brian is capable of accomplishing this task) told him that it wasn't too hard. Brian remembeed that I had agreed with him on Monday that it was hard since he was bundled in a large coat that day. Brian maintained that it was too hard and James warned him not to contradict Daddy again. Brian then defended himself by saying that Mommy had said that it was too hard. He then thought for a moment and said, "Then Mommy contradicts you, too."

Wow.
