David's favorite number and Brian's math skills

David's favorite number is 45. If you ask him how old he is, he's 45. If you ask him how many eggs he wants for breakfast, it's 45. Brian was asking him addition problems in the car last night and David always answered...45. So, Brian tailored a question just for David: "David, what's 4 groups of 10 plus 5?" WOW.

Then this morning, he was talking about time and number of seconds in a minute, minutes in an hour, and hours in a day. Then he started asking about groups of 24. Then he thinks for a few minutes and blurts out, "Mommy, 2 groups of 24 plus 12 is...60."
